Building a new home means making a lot of decisions - and one of the most important ones happens before the drywall ever goes up. Getting the HVAC system right from the start sets the tone for how comfortable and efficient that home will be for years to come.
Here's what we were working with - a fresh Lennox furnace dropped into a dedicated mechanical closet during the framing stage. This is exactly the right time to do it. When the walls are still open, we can route everything cleanly, position the unit properly, and make sure the ductwork and flue pipes have room to breathe. No cutting corners, no awkward workarounds.
The PVC flue pipes and ductwork connections are routed neatly out of the top of the unit. That kind of clean routing matters - not just for looks, but for airflow performance and long-term reliability. A sloppy install creates problems down the road. We don't do sloppy.
New construction is actually the best opportunity to get HVAC done right. There are no existing systems to work around, no tight retrofits, and no guessing about what's hiding behind a wall. We size the system for the home, install it the way it's meant to be installed, and move on knowing the homeowner is set up for real comfort.
Whether you're building from the ground up or planning ahead for a future build, this is the kind of work that pays off every single day you live in that house.
